The Beetle Juice Dress

This dress was made for the UD synergy Fashion show. I made the dress inspired by a movie I love Beetle Juice. The Idea behind the dress is that in the musical Lydia and BJ become best friends about half way though. The idea for this dress is that Lydia took one of BJ’s old suits ripped it up and made a dress out of it, covered it in hair dye and then added some of her clothes to it to make it a llittle bit more her.

The dress itself was an altered pattern, that I then made in the stripped cotton popplin and splattered in Neon green paint.
